hi i need help with my laptop when ive got power lead in and disconnect the battery the laptop turns off any idea what could be causing this prolem ?many thanks

ive got a acer aspire 5738z laptop if i connect the power lead with no battery connected the laptop wont stay on but if i connect the charger with battery conected it will stay on any idea why this is happening?many thanks

Try a different charger.
