Go back to Windows 10, which it is the only OS supported by your system.

i managed to get back to windows 10 and installed necessary drivers except the intel HD 620 driver

i keep getting this error
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
but the installer had a success. it just gives me this and when i check the device manager it has a yellow exclamation mark icon on it.
is it ok not to install the hd 620 driver and rely on the Nvidia geforce 940MX only?

When you install Windows 10, you should allow Windows to update drivers automatically, then when it's done then you could install any missing drivers.

Go to the Device Manage and uninstall the Intel HD 620, checking 'Delete the driver software for this device'
Reboot and allow Windows to install compatible drivers.
