Question Acer Aspire Refusing to Shut Down

Hey everyone. I have an Acer Aspire running Windows 10. Today I opened the file explorer and experienced some lag. I ignored it but then the file explorer became not responding. I opened up Task Manager and ended the task (file explorer/windows explorer). Immediately after, my taskbar went empty and my computer became unresponsive. I clicked Ctrl Alt Del and restarted my computer. It’s been on the restarting screen for around 10 minutes now. Anyone know how to fix it?
PS: I cannot remove my battery.
