Acer Aspire TC-780 (from 2017)

Basic desktop computer, for basic non-gaming needs.
I was looking for ways to speed things up without spending too much.
Friend suggested that CPU and HDD to SDD would be best.
While checking into things I decided to explore DRAM upgrades as well.

Primarily looking for CPU related suggestions.
I can't figure out which CPUs would fit my motherboard, so I can't pick an upgraded CPU.

If you have thoughts about the HDD to SDD and/or DRAM, they are also welcome.

Thank you. More info below.

CPU
Current: Intel Core i5-7400 @ 3.00GHz

Unsure which CPUs will fit my motherboard.
System Info shows Acer Aspire TC-780 (KBL) as the baseboard Manufacturer and Product

HDD to SDD.
Current HDD is 2 TB, and I'm using less than 500GB
1TB SDD ($75) or 2TB ($150)

DRAM
Current 12 (4+8). Max is 32GB
16 ($50) or 32($100).

Update:

Ordered and installed SSD.
Setup the new SSD with Windows only (Clean install?)
Computer is better than it was coming out of the box.
Sure, I have to download/install some software as needed. Now it's a faster install of the latest version.
Sure, I had to move/backup media prior. I had most already backed up and can 'organize' as I reload.

Did not order a new CPU or DRAM.
We just returned from vacation and I had enough time to order the SSD from Amazon and install it.
Considering the improvement and my needs. I'm good now and will revisit CPU/DRAM down the road.

Thanks again Helpstar.
