Hello! I just recently came across an issue with my Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG. Basically my screen flickers on the middle right part of my screen and it call depends on what my screen is showing. For example if I'm playing a video or if I have a screen with a lot of color, it will just go ballistic while if I just have a blank/mostly white screen, it will not occur often (1-2 times every 20 seconds or so). I'm not sure if this is relevant, but the height of the flicker also varies with absolutely no pattern whatsoever. I tried seeing if the screen was affected by moving the screen up/down a few times and I noticed no effect. I've tried restarting as well as unplugging the cable connected to the lcd then reconnecting it and nothing changed. I'm assuming I need to purchase a new lcd which I have no problem doing but I would like to exhaust all other options before shoving out $50.

Thanks for any all help!

Update: Also I just noticed that it only starts doing it after using the laptop for a few minutes like it needs to warm up or something. If I close my laptop screen or turn it off, it takes about 2minutes for it to start flickering.

The graphics in your laptop (either built into the processor - most likely) or the external GPU is in the process of malfunctioning and it's on it's way out the door. I would back up all of your data as soon as possible and I would return the laptop to the manufacturer to fix and ship back to you at their expense. Acer is pretty quick when it comes to laptop repairs I've found, and they'll have to put a new motherboard in your laptop to get things back up and going again but it's most certainly a hardware issue that can't be fixed by anything you can do with what you have available.
