Acer laptop stuck on Acer screen

how can i unlock this laptop .. no cursor , just acer screen , can get to boot manager but there is no safe mode .. and if i press cntrl and F10 it goes to preparing to repair .. and u wait a few minutes and a media fail comes on ...

Go to BIOS and disable "Silent Boot" or enable "Diagnostic Boot" it always worded different but what you want to achieve is to see the actual post instead of the Acer Logo. If you see the POST you see where it stops.

ok .. i will try it later or 1st thing in the morning ... and will advise yo of situation .... i do not have laptop with me and i m at work at the moment ... but thanks for your help so far ..i reallly appreciate it !!!!

Hi i m back .. and not getting anything .. gettinga boot manager screen but only limited to what i can do there .. what is the hard drive id under .. i think its disappeared from moving around .. but tere is a screen that gives u the # .. help getting frustrated

hi i am still having troube getting this lkaptop to work .. it is a acer E5-471 and can t get past the blue screen .. it has pictures i don t want to loose if possible .. i can t get past the acer screen .. so i can t type or anything .. i prss F10 and can get preparing to repair .. but then u see checking media fail then nothing ..any help or suggestions
