The beauty of 3D is better appreciated on huge displays. Laptop screens aren't big enough to feel the dept.
3D should be kept as a feature for big screens...TV's and huge desktop monitors.

With 96 shaders, I think it will handle the 1366x768 resolution just fine for 3D. It's not like we're powering a 1920x1080 monitor here.

most games today will need a fairly powerful video card, that said 96 shaders is not enough, maybe 480 :)

I'm just amazed how little notebooks cost now-a-days compared to only a few years ago. I bought a decent gateway laptop, 1920 x 1080 display, with a 9800m GTS with everything else pretty standard besides the HDMI port for $1200 and it was considered a steal. I know it says "starting price" but you can add your own hardware later, as needed, as I would never pay $250 dollars more for ram or a bigger hard drive. Save that for idiotic Mac lovers.

acer laptop are cap like Dell, sony, gateway, HP

I can't believe most of them last 1 1/2 and then need to change motherboards and/or hard drive (lost data).

The more they pack in, the more it breaks easily. Laptop manufacture need to revolutionise the market for at least that laptops are a bit more reliable.

Government and organism need to make manufacturers more responsible of the quality of the product they sell.
