What are you talking about? The monitor refresh rate had nothing to do with the GPU capabilityThe 144Hz screen is more for marketing hype when the GPU can not get anywhere near that refresh rate. Maybe it have been better with a slow but higher quality screen?

I agree with you about the quality of Acer laptop displays. But that's why the price of these laptops is attractive. Every medal has two sides.While the price is decent, I feel the fact that Acer consistently uses some low brightness and color contrast display is quite annoying. From what I recall, Acer's Nitro and entry Helios series all uses low end displays despite the 120/144hz refresh rate. At least give people the option to get a same model with a better display, etc.
