The 144Hz screen is more for marketing hype when the GPU can not get anywhere near that refresh rate. Maybe it have been better with a slow but higher quality screen?

What are you talking about? The monitor refresh rate had nothing to do with the GPU capability

Why would you compare it's weight to a competitor's 17 inch laptop, when they also have 15 inch model? Very strange.

While the price is decent, I feel the fact that Acer consistently uses some low brightness and color contrast display is quite annoying. From what I recall, Acer's Nitro and entry Helios series all uses low end displays despite the 120/144hz refresh rate. At least give people the option to get a same model with a better display, etc.

I agree with you about the quality of Acer laptop displays. But that's why the price of these laptops is attractive. Every medal has two sides.

I have the exact same laptop with core i7 10th gen. Just one that bothers me is while the CPU temps go upto 96 degrees. The T-junction is 100 degrees, anybody who can recommend the best possible solution to this???
