I have an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti on this laptop and on the display adapter properties it only shows generic pnp monitor. What do i do?

Solution

Not all monitors show up by name. This just depends on the monitor. The G2460PF is a monitor that does not show up by name in Windows.

"PnP" means "Plug-and-Play", which means the monitor works fine even if it is not recognized by name. It does not mean "compatibility problem" or something like that. Everything is fine.
