Acer P243W hurting my eyes

For my new PC build I'm using a Acer P243W monitor.
24"
1920 x 1200
60hz refresh rate
2ms response time

I tried another monitor and that didn't hurt my eyes at all. Is it because the actual screen is shiny (reflective), the other monitor wasn't.

Please help

If it hurts your eyes, I don't think there's anyway around the problem other than returning the monitor and getting a new one.

People say it works, but I'm not one to believe that until someone lends me a pair to try. You can try it if you want but I would just return the monitor and get a new one.
