Yeah....retarded screen is retarded.... I'm in the same boat with you my friend. Ordered an Acer XF270HU couple of weeks ago. The first arrived and had a whole cluster of dead/stuck pixels, didn't keep it on for longer than 10 minutes so didn't bother checking for IPS-glow.
Sent it back and got a replacement - no dead/stuck pixels but the IPS-glow was HORRENDOUS! I am getting cross-eyes by only using it for internet browsing in a well-lit room so go figure how bad it was.
Sent this one back too and was asking here should I try a3d one or just go for a different brand/model. Then I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mje_fmayu0k
They tested 20 monitors Asus ROG PG279Q and out of all 20 only 2 were barely "acceptable". Quality control seems to be nonexistent...
I know it's not the exactly same model as yours but you get the flow....

So...what would I do if I were you? If you have the patience keep returning the monitors until you get one that is good enough, or ...just go for another brand/model.

Yes, asus rog pg 279q has horrible QC than acer.but acer has some problems you see.We have two choose here.
1.we should buy this monitor on shop with trying
2.we should have very very luck this event.
I tryed 6 of times(buy or replacment) from amazon.i am worring for my account.maybe i will get bann.
and no good monitor... All of them some problem(blb,glow,dead pixel) iam give up,this is my last trying.so you say it has defective?

They just seem to have very poor quality control and just release on the market products that should have not left the factory if you ask me. I finally decided to buy a TN panel monitor, although it's old technology. I prefer to get worse colours but no stupid IPS-glow. It hurts my eyes too much.
By the way here you could see that Asus and Acer are using the same panels in some of their monitors. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_mg279q.htm
Here Asus MG279Q is using the exact same panel as Acer XB270HU. So no surprise they both got similar problems.

Actually,i accept your impression but some people have perfect monitor this class.İf anybody hasnt got perfect monitor i can understand but some people have perfect panel this lottery. You look amazon acer xb 271hu comments.Alot of people give 5 stars this unit.so they should be have perfect monitor these lottory....

You are right, I am just tired of playing "the lottery". When you are spending this much money on a popular brand monitor you should not be expected to "play the lottery". I would expect all of them to be in perfect working order and without problems with IPS-glow, dead pixels and so on.

i am going to try my chance with asus rog pg 279q.i try it at store and after that i will buy it.i bored to play lottoy on ınternet.
