ACPI Compliant BLUE SCREEN ERROR

if i try to install windows XP shows blue screen error message " the bios in this system is not fully ACPI Compliant please contact your system vendor or..............your vendor is not ACPI compliant.........

Hmm what are your system specs so I can see what I'm dealing with ?
Also it maybe a long shot but depending on how old the motherboard is and the hardware attached to it.
The bios maybe at fault, to be sure of that check the cmos setup screen and verify after reading this.
