Activation Key where is it

So I have recently reinstalled windows on my system and it is asking me for a product key which i dont have anymore since i lost the box. What is the best course of action for me ? help would be VERY much appreciated.

You could have recovered it from the previous installation BEFORE you installed. Now, I believe you are out of luck, unless you had Windows 10 linked to your MS account.

Contact MS support, let them know what happened. Although you are likely going to be stuck with purchasing another copy since they will have no way to see if you actually had a legal copy of Windows aside from you saying you did.
