Hello Guys, for a certain accounting application, an Active Directory was set for a small group of users in an enterprise.Now an over all centralized management is planned, how does one proceed knowing the previous set was done by outside developement specialists.

You're going to have to speak to a professional about your specific needs.

In general though, as long as the AD was properly set up you should have no problems migrating over to a dedicated AD server or a different authentication system. If necessary, you can always keep legacy accounts running until you verified there are no issues
 


If you are not going to be forthright about what you need, budget, and what you have, you NEED to speak to a professional about this. Any less will cost more.
 


Its for an educational purpose. What i'm looking for, is people who found themselves in a similar situation and are willing to share their experience.
