This applies to consoles and phones but the minute you start adding peripherals well you guessed it may as well say it's now become a pc. If you have to carry around a mouse/keyboard or big screen why use a phone,May as well buy a laptop to game on. PC aint dying anytime soon unlike what a lot of journalists keep trying to tell me for the last decade.

The downside to games looking that good will probably be storage space, that's the worst thing about phones. Also, they would need HDMI out and Bluetooth support for peripherals. Then maybe, they would make decent gaming things that you can connect to your TV to play games.

While I don't game very much anymore, I would think that the model going forward would be cross-platform licensing. Whether it is Steam or OnLive or XBox Live, or some other model. It seems that purchasing a game license and being able to log-in to your account from whichever platform you have handy is the only reasonable model when people have so many devices.
