Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble right now: I wanted to get rid of ads by installing Lavasoft's Ad-Aware Adblock on my PC, but as soon as I downloaded the software, I lost my Internet connection. Now, even after uninstalling the software, I'm left with no Internet at all. What's worse, my Killer Wireless N-1202 Card is now disabled all the time, even when rebooting my system. How do I enable it again? What did Ad-Aware Adblock do to my PC? Please help me! I need Internet access to do my college homework and I spent considerable time trying to fix the issue, but to no avail.

You likely damaged the drivers for the killer device. This card is a little different than most in it replace part of the windows stack. If you reinstall their software to put the drivers in it normally fixes all this stuff. Needless to say this is why I tend to hate killer products they tend to go poking around trying to give their magic increase in performance but you end up with all kinds of nasty problems when other software assumes it is running on a normal windows device.

I think adblock - adguard will be a better solution for your problem. You can get it from here: http://adguard.com/en/download.html. Also, I'll suggest you to go through the adblock advisor which has three different ad blocking software options. I hope it will help you.
