Question ad blocking apps

What are your opinions about ad-blocking apps? Do they work? Do they cause your systems to have problems or slow them down? I was thinking about one called AdBlocker Ultimate.

Yes, they work. I use uBlock Origin and Ghostery and have been pleased with their performance. There are others, as noted available.

I am not familiar with the app you mentioned. Maybe another member will come along with some advice about it.
