Adapter for 144hz

So im playing csgo and thought of buying a monitor without much research which i now regret. After hours of researching and thinking, i think i only have one option to get 144hz while keeping 1920x1080 which is having a mini displayport to dvi d adapter. I just wanted to ask around for a confirmation if i would be able to keep the 144hz if i use that adapter. Also if an amazon link of the adapter would be great please! For reference sakes, my laptop is asus g751jt 2014 model and the monitor is benq xl2441z. Thank you so much in advance!

The monitor is very good, not to worry, and the connection will power 144hz just fine.

So i would be able to continue on my plan of buying that type of adapter just fine? Thank you so much! And i would want to ask if theres any way i can bother you a bit more to give me a link to a cable that would fit my needs. Preferably from amazon please. Just so i dont go idiot mode and end up ordering the wrong thing. Thanks again so much!

Yeah... i heard mini dp and displayport are the same and they both can support 1080p. My laptop has mini displayport but my monitor doesnt. Which brings me back to my answer which was a mini dp to dvi d adapter. I just wanted to confirm if 144hz at 1080p would still be fine with that adapter, and if i needed an active adapter or whatever adapter would do. Im using hdmi currently but it can only support 120hz at 1024x768 which i dont want.

The monitor doesn't have a mini display port connector.
The ones listed have the incorrect connections for 144hz, either female connectors or DVI(non Dual)

Uhm, it doesn't have a displayport either as far as I know, which is why I was thinking of getting a mini displayport to dvi-d, since the only options on the monitor are hdmi, dvi-d and VGA. The options on my laptop are mini displayport, hdmi and dvi. Just not sure which mini displayport to dvi-d to use that would allow me to get 144hz.

Thank you so much! I'll be waiting for that link, there's so many types of mini dp to dvi cable, not sure which one to get. I'm scared to get the wrong one lol

Got the exact cable you sent me, and plugged it in mini dp to dvi-d, it's still not showing up =( any idea?
