Question Add an NVMe?

Hi,
I have an Z390 AORUS ULTRA MB and wanted to find out how many hard drives I can run at the same time.

I currently have 4 SATA drives and wanted to find out if I can add one or two additional NVMes.

My 4 hard drives are connected to the lanes SATA 0, 1, 2 ,3, 5 (I think I use 1 extra lane for power), and I also have one external HD.

Can I add one or two more NVMEs? I am thinking of plugging it in the M2P slot as it's more accessible.

I have an RTX 3080 on the PCIEX16 slot.

Look in your user manual.
"Refer to "1-8 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the PCIEX4, M.2, and SATA connectors. "

You can add two M.2 drives (into M2A and M2P slots) as long as they are PCIe drives (not SATA) without loosing any SATA ports.
