I’m running two sticks of Team Dark Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800), Timing: 9-9-9-24, Latency: 9 on a Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H mobo, with an Intel i5-4690. Can I add two sticks of G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800), timing 10-10-10-30 2N with latency 10 without creating issues?

I think it shouldn't be a problem. If there was a difference in the speed of the RAM sticks then the lower speed would be the dominant one and it would force the other one to slow down too, but I don't know much on how it works with latency. It might slow down the latency of your running sticks, but again, I could be wrong. I don't think any "SERIOUS" problem should occur. If I'm wrong also you might have some small problems which will be solved by removing the new sticks or by just getting some help again here with the error you are facing.

If I were you, I would try it out.

ususaly we do not mix ram that is the gskill you want to put with the team one they may work but have to be set in dual channel and did you check you motherboard specs if you could use all of these memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231606&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

They might play, they might not - the forums are full of threads of people trying to mix sets and having problems, it's a crapshoot, even with two packages of the exact same model of sticks. That's why manufacturers offer such a wide variety of number of sticks in a set - so you can get all you want/need that are tested to work together and guaranteed to do so.
