I have a 500 psu and i have a gtx750 ti and i want to add a second one do i need to upgrade my psu or can i just use the one i have?

Solution
Given that your motherboard has two PCIE slots you could use it as a dedicated PhysX card for benchmarks/Borderland & Batman series games but the "improvement" is minimal (I've tested this using a 780/750 ti) which at the most will give you 7-10 FPS increase and maybe a higher PhysX setting but will increase power consumption and increase heat.

Just sell them and get something better. It's a gift so you own it now. It's your thing so you can do what you want with it.

Alright so your saying to use the other 750 Ti as a Dedicated correct?

There haven't been any games using physx in years and there probably will never be again since it's proprietary tech that never caught on. It's just going to sit there wasting engery and doing nothing 99.99% of the time.

I'm saying it's a option however if you don't play any games that utilize Nvidia PhysX software such as the Borderland/Batman series then it would be a waste. I think your best bet is to sell both cards and buy something like the 1050 ti or the 1060 3gb.
