Hello.

following HDD cloning into SSD which connected to the dvd-rom slot.
i experience some problems in priority the boot order in the bios,
when i put the CDROM staff in the top of the list and save, its still boot into the HDD, see in the attached (BIOS BOOT MODE) also in different orders.
the SSD appear in the boot menu (f12) and i can boot into it from this option,
the SSD also appear on the device manger.

acer aspire v3-572-53RA
windows 8.1

thanks in advance.

Slot is the port on a components. The other word you used is vulgarity.

You can run the free version of easyBCD that will allow you to add the SSD as a boot option to the windows start menu if that works you can make that the default and use it without a countdown (do not delete the old HDD menu item) so it will directly boot into the SSD,it will still do that from the BCD of the HDD but at least it will do so automatically.
Usually a BIOS will have a boot priority list but it will also have a second list were you can give priority to each individual choice.
So you leave it on HDD boot but you change the HDD list so that the SSD is on top of this list.
You shouldn't have cloned the drive. Instead you should've just reinstalled the OS from scratch.
That wouldn't help much unless he would be cool with losing all that storage space of the HDD,since as soon as he would reconnect the HDD he would be in this same situation again.
