Hey.

So I'm looking at getting a large 5TB Internal 7200 RPM hard drive for storage purposes.
Drive I am looking at purchasing.

I'm wondering a couple of things:

1.) Is this a decent drive that I would be safe buying? There won't be anything vital on this drive, mostly emulators, roms, and steam games.

2.) Will I have any issues using all 5TB on Windows 7 64-bit? From what I understand, using the computer management menu, I can format the drive to use all 5TB. I just want to make sure I am not limited by windows. Here are my computer specs.

Thanks for your help!

It should be fine for file storage. Make sure to change from MBR to GPT. Other than that looks good! Enjoy!

Ok. I don't think I was clear. This drive is not going to have an OS installed on it. It will be solely for file storage. This being said, how does this change your answer? Thanks.
