Hello all

I'm about to be running alot of VMs off my Gateway DX4860 which already has 8gb of RAM. I was planning an purchasing 2x4GB of RAM on Cyber Monday. According to Speccy I have 2 available slots, can anybody verify this on the prebuilt system? Also, Would another 8gb of RAM strain my PSU? Thanks in advance!

EDIT
Also, Will any DD3 RAM fit? Could I have 2x4gb and 2x8gb for a total of 24gb of RAM or should all memory sticks be same size?

Tyler,
You need to read your system's documentation to determine what kinds of memory (specification) and in what slot configurations will work for your computer.
If you just buy what is on sale it is almost guaranteed not to work.

Not buying just because its on sale, I'm planning on adding more RAM ASAP, now just seems like a good time to save a few bucks. Can Speccy be trusted? Heres my log:
