Adding a third hard drive to raid 0

Hey everyone,
I've had my computer for over a year now and originally i had 2 250gb HDDs in raid 0 however, I now realize i need more room.

Ideally i would like to buy another internal hard drive off of newegg such as a caviar or 1tb drive and just plug it in however, i don't know how to format it and what not. I can't just plug it in and expect the disk space to be added right? how exactly would i go about adding/ formatting another drive?
