Adding an additional DC to an existing AD domain

I am trying to add a new server as an additional DC for an
existing AD domain, with the intent of eventually
replacing the old server with the new one. I want the
new server to have DNS setup on it as well. Thanks for
any information or help provided.

Basics: install the server OS, apply SPs & patch it with critical updates,
dcpromo it, install DNS (AD integrated), transfer the FSMO roles to the new
box. Once replication has completed, you ought to be able to dcpromo the old
server & remove it.
