[SOLVED] Adding an extra 2666 MHZ Ram to an existing setup of (x2) 2400MHZ Memory

I was wondering if i can add an extra 8GB HyperX fury 2666Mhz Ram to an existing setup of 16 GB(2x8) HyperX fury 2400Mhz Ram and make them all run on 2400Mhz speed.
Motherboard: MSI Z370 SLI Plus
The reason for the question is because i am not being able to find the same ram with same speed in the market anymore.

Mixing RAM is always a crapshoot.
It might work, it might fail.

The only guarantee is to buy the amount you need as an actual set. Not mix and match.

I'd get your new ones first and see if they all work together. Then if they don't, you can sell your other set and pick up another matching one.
