MZ-V7E500BW
SSD 970 EVO 500GB PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.3 V-NAND M.2 (2280) @ Samsung $119.99
Or
MZ-N6E500BW SSD
SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series M.2 2280 500GB SATA III V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Crucial MX500 M.2 2280 500GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT500MX500SSD4 $74.99

Solution

For that use, just get a regular 2.5" SATA III SSD.
The Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860 EVO, in whatever size your budget can handle.

What is your motherboard?
What do you use this system for?

HP 690-0067c Desktop PC
MB is Sunflower SSID 8433
I just use it to cruz the Web, e mail and some work with videos & pictures, nothing heavy. I want to put the SSD in place to replace the old style 7200 rpm H/D that came with the pc.
