Good Morning

My wife has an older Toshiba Satellite laptop and I would like to see if I can connect two larger monitors to it so she can better work from home.

The monitors will be inexpensive VGA 19" Dell Monitors. I see 3 USB ports and 1 HDMI. Is it possible for her to have dual monitors?

Looking that model up, it's not that old. By tech years it's ancient of course, but when you said old I was thinking a lot older.

The problem you have with plugging two monitors in is you'll have to use a USB to DVI adapter. While this works, it works barely. refresh rates are horrid. I've seem them in use and while it's possible, it's literally ugly. I would honestly try to use the built in monitor and another over HDMI. USB to DVI is rather cheap so you can try it if you want. This will also be limited to 2D work. Word, simply browser, etc. Flash or 3D things won't work/work well.
