Hey guys,

So I bought myself a prebuild gaming pc. Its the asus rog strix gd30ci. Great computer so far.
The case got additional space for 4 more case fans. And since its only got 1 fan on the rear and no intake fans, I'm thinking to add some front intake fans and a top exhaust fan.

The builds got a reference gtx 1070 with a blower fan. My question was will the air thats taking in by the front intake only be used by the blower? Since the videocard is pretty close to the front im was afraid this wil happen and the front intake wouldnt make a difference for the rest of the pc.

My other question was, should i fill all the empty 4 fan spaces? Or would be 2 sufficient? so should I add only a top exhaust fan and a front intake fan? Would this make a difference with cooling the system?

With kind regards.

I would use both front slots for intake fans. One would feed GPU with cool air (lower one), the other would bring air for CPU. And that's probably all you need. Adding any top exhaust may or may not help. The hot air will move through the top vents anyway, since hot air rises.

I should note that the lower intake fan seems to direct the air towards the hdd and power supply. The higher one seems to be the one thats going to feed the gpu
