[SOLVED] adding more ram of same brand

want to add 2x8gb ram to my already 2x8gb

currently running crucial ballistix 2x8gb 3200 white rgb ddr4 on an asus rog strix b550f gaming motherboard

my question is can i add 2x8gb 3200 NON-rgb and everything be ok ? same brand, same speed.
the non rgb is so much cheaper at the minute.

No way of knowing for sure. Decent chance if it seems to match on voltage and timings.

But same model numbers of RAM are not necessarily the same in all underlying detail.

You can:

1; take a chance and accept you might be disappointed.

2; buy a new kit of 32 and sell what you have now.

3; do nothing
