Question Adding storage

Ok so i purchased a pc for my daughter,

I set it up added a couple of games and obviously remembered at this point its only 512gb... I have no idea how many slots there are to add storage or whats best to add for gaming i saw deals on crucial 1tb could someone advise. I tried searching the msi site but that only shows the i7 versions not the one i purchased

From what i can tell you have a MSI H510M PRO motherboard with a single M.2 PCI-e gen 3 x 4 slot and 4 SATA 6Gb/s ports. If your wanting to add storage you will have to clone the smaller 512Gb drive to a larger one or use a sata 2.5" ssd as extra storage.

why you dont keep the m2 as os drive and get a ssd or hdd of 1 tb to put games on and others files .

Just add this. Make sure you have a SATA power connector you will also need a SATA cable.
Just add the drive, format it, assign a drive letter then make a folder on it called games and direct all game downloads to that folder.

Your easiest option will be to keep the current drive thats in the computer
Buy a 1/2TB ssd, and add it onto the current machine, she can install large games to the other SSD you bought and run the Operating system on the current 512ssd in the system
