I need to add additional memory to the system that you guys helped me create a year ago.

Asrock z77 extreme4
Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
existing memory: 1 of: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit for Core i3, i5, i7 and Platforms SDRAM CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

I need to add 8gb more in the slots that the cooler is over, not sure what would "match" with the existing memory and what would fit without issue under the cooler (i remember when you guys helped my build this that it was mentioned might need special memory to go under the cooler- not sure if that is the case thb though).

I am not overclocking and really do not think that I will (can i overclock the cpu later and not the memory?)

Your help is greatly appreciated once again.

Solution
With the Hyper 212 EVO, simply raise the fan(s), the fan height is adjustable (it just clips on the fins), no bad effects on cooling its done by many people without any problems.
I found this on amazon - lower profile for sure

This is what is in there now

Someone mentioned lift the fan up - in order to get this memory in the fan would be need to be lifted so that the top tabs that connect to heatsink would no longer clip on. I think the memory could be put in place right in front of fan but literally right next to it, would that create a problem?
