Question adequate ram for this build? (Ryzen 7800X3D, X670E, 4090)

Can someone please tell me if

is a good match to the rest of these components

ASUS ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming WIFI
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
and probably a 4090

Modules seem a bit expensive (~350$) for 'just' 48GB, but I probably could upgrade it to 96 if ever necessary in the future. But is that RAM worth that price?

And as a follow-up: How important is it of a ram module showing up in the mainboard's official tested list?

I would think that 2X16GB would be adequate for gaming.
Speed? if you try pushing to the max it could be a problem.
Perhaps shop for 7200 with a lower cl.
