so some games i like playing and watching twitch, but firefox/adobe uses upto 50% of my cpu and it make the game near impossible to play, how can i make firefox and adobe use less cpu, i have hardware acceleration off cause it makes my screen black out for a few secs between my pages and only have addblock as an extension, my cpu is intel i5 4690k

Solution
Uninstall both Adobe and Firefox.

Install one of them. Work and test for awhile. See if all is well.

Then install the second. Work and test again.

Hopefully all will be well or you will be at least able to identify the culprit.
