My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this question.
(If not, please advise where I can find the information).

A friend of mine is doing some video editing for me and I don't want
to seem like a real pain to him.

In one video clip, there is an "element" that I wish to have him ersse--
my hand appears where it shouldn't appear.

Can someone tell me if it is easy to erase "just my hand" from the
2 second clip, and possibly give me a pointer to pass along to my
friend as to how to do it?

THANKS in advance !!!

David

if your camera is not moving and you have a piece of video where your hand
is not in the frame you can use a portion of the earlier video over top of
the bad video. You'll have to draw or make a mask around the good video
area and super impose that over your bad video.

Or simply crop a section of the good video and impose that on the track
above.

However, if the camera indeed is moving - your request is probably too
technical for your friend who may find your request annoying - especially
since it is your hand in the way!!
