Hey all,

So today I just put a brand new GTX 770 in my system, so that I can get better gaming performance of course, but also for my adobe work which I needed a boost in. But sadly the adobe programs aren't recognizing my GTX 770, so for example in Premiere Pro, I can't use the CUDA technology for fast rendering. Is this just because its new theres no official support yet? Thanks.

Premier was never good at recognizing cards. There are around 10 models that are immediately recognized. There is a workaround. Go on youtube and write "premier pro hack any nvidia gpu" and there should be at least 2-3 tutuorials. I always do it that way. It even works on GT 520s. And the sad part is that anything above a gtx 560/650 does not bring any performance gain. The difference between one of the computers here with a 520 and another with a 550 is less than 3/4% (other specs are identical).

Forgot to say that the above mentioned workaround is valid on cs5 / 5.5 and 6 and it worked for me. If you wish to do it, do so on your own risk, it may not work for you.

http://blog.krama.tv/hacking-adobe-premiere-cs5-to-enable-more-nvidia-cuda-cards/. This might be helpfull. Again I want to point out - this has worked for me and many others, but still if you mess up you can make Premier inoperable and might need to reinstall.
