Adobe Reader

I have the same proble as documented here however I can not preform any of the segestions due to the fact that the system alway goes into Adobe for everything I try, Can't restart in safe mode, cant delete adobe because my add and delete defaults to adobe. How do I get this corrected when everything is defalting to adobe and will not open I even tried the start run sysedit and it goes into adobe.
