Question Adobe Substance 3D Designer, Painter, Sampler, Stager.

Hello,

I'm thinking of getting Adobe Master Collection 2022 but I've noticed that compared to Adobe Master Collection 2021, there's a few different/new programs called "Adobe Substance...".

Does any one have experience of these new "Adobe Substance" programs and what they do and replace in Adobe Master Collection 2021?

No experience (full disclosure) but there seems to be quite a bit of documentation.

Does anyone know what would be a good CPU to use such programs? I'm thinking of getting a AMD Ryzen 9 5950X or 5900X. Would one of these suffice? Or is this Threadripper territory?

What hardware depends a lot on your use case.

Hobbiest/learner to begin with but after the first year, semi pro. My own content creations., videos, digital art, etc...

Then don't be too concerned about getting the most uberist CPU available today.
In a year or so, after you're comfortable in the software....your hardware needs and choices may change.
