I've been trying to call Microsoft support but every time they bring me to the technically team the phone cut of on me twice? So now I'm writing in forms and hopefully someone will help me out. This is my situation, after upgrading windows 8.1 pro to windows 10 pro on a desktop. I try go to the advance boot menu by pressing F11 and all of a sudden my screen flashes and loads normally into the log in screen. I then try access advance boot menu through ''Recovery'' through settings by clicking on ''Advance start up''. When the advance boot menu appeared the only chooses I see is ''Turn off your pc''.  what happened to Use another operating system, Troubleshoot and continue options?

Solution
If you are trying to dual boost then use EasyBCD program to edit the options.

If you are looking for safe mode options you have to jump through some hoops to show it, google specific instructions for windows 10.
