I built my pc yesterday with my friend and everything was okay, the specs of the pc are a ryzen 7 7700x, rtx 5060 ti 16gb, 64 am ddr5, gigabyte 360 cpu cooler gaming,
B650E MAX GAMING WIFI and 850w plus bonze
and x2 1tb kingstone.

I mean the pc is really solid, and should run all the games out there, i played mc with shaders and mods and everthing okay. But when i tried with fort nite fps drops from 200/220 (everythin in epic) to 19/20 fps suddenly doing an annoying stuttering. It happens also in valo rant dropping from 1000 to 20.

my monitor is msi g255pf e2 and its set in 180Hz, but i tried also with others configurations and remains the same problems on those games.

What is the exact model of your RAM? Speed, latency, and number of sticks of RAM make a big difference in CPU gaming performance which can cause the kind of stutters you are referring to.

What is the exact model of your PSU as well and how old is it?

This is my cpuz results

My ram are some Cosair vegance from amazon 32x2gb dual channel with like 5200 mh
My psu is a ThermalRight TR-TB850S 80 Plus Bronze 850W and its brand new

I used to own that exact RAM kit. It has two problems: 1) it is low speed for a DDR5 kit (5200 MHz) and it has high latency (CL40). A RAM kit like this will slow down your CPUs ability to render frames that get sent to the GPU, causing a lower average frame rate and stuttering.

I upgraded from the RAM kit you have to a 6000 MHz kit operating at a CL30 latency. It made a big difference. If it seems a bit expensive, buy a 32 GB (16x2) kit instead of a 64 GB kit. You don't need 64 GB of RAM for gaming.

Here is an example of the RAM kit you should get:

It's $115 on amazon

How do you get 1000 fps in Valorant with those specs? This CPU should bottleneck you at around 450 fps.

And since you have a 180 Hz monitor, it's totally useless to run at a so high frame rate (some people say it improves the input latency but it's likely a placebo effect according to me). All it really does is making your GPU and CPU working hard for nothing and you certainly get a load of screen tearing.

You should cap your frame rate just below 180 fps or enable V-Sync. You might already get an improvement just with that. And as RTX 2080 said, your RAM is quite slow and that doesn't help for the low 1% fps.

Are you sure the GPU is running the game ?

Games can run on the (iGPU) inside the processor, instead of running on the NVIDIA card.
Therefore, this could be the reason for the strong drop in fps.

Im using the pc for the uni and i want 64gb ram for some virtualitation or another tasks. Are you sure this micro stuttering are because of the ram? Because in my laptop it doesnt happen and i use a corsair ram too. Valor ant is not like a exigent game idk

It goes from 700 up to 1200 and I said in the other message, I tried playing with the frames using MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner but seems usless, still the microstutterring happen

Is only using the rtx 5060 ti, but something i noticed is that when im playing the first 20 sec are really smooth but later starts the stuttering for no reason

Make sure windows 11 GPU hardware GPU scheduling is turned off in your display settings it's under graphics this can cause stutter and freeze on Fortnite had that issue with a 4070 super doesn't like playing nice it also nuked hogwarts legacy.

Is there any way to see that before i open all the case? I used HWMonitor and everything seems fine tbh
Not really, no. You can monitor temps. Your idle should be between 30-40C, your max should be under 90C

The cooler is designed to be attached very tight. You typically turn the mounting screws/nuts/knobs (in a cross pair pattern) until they stop. Snug is not tight enough. Having tight enough ensures proper heat transfer.

I jsut turned on amd freesync and right now vvalo rant is going well

1. Open Task Manager > Performance

2. Launch the game and check:
If GPU 0 is active → it's the iGPU
If GPU 1 is active → it's the dedicated GPU (your RTX)
3. If it’s using the iGPU:
Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics
Add the game and set it to High Performance
If you need anything else, I’m here for it.

tysm, i did the amd freesync andnow everything is okay

Doesn't make much sense to me. You have an Nvidia card, so unless your monitor supports G-Sync AND you enabled it in the Nvidia control panel, FreeSync won't do anything. Moreover, event though you actually run with G-Sync on, it won't have any effect on your frame rate (especially at a higher frame rate than your monitor max refresh rate where FreeSync and G-Sync literally get disabled).

Where did you turned on FreeSync? In your monitor settings?

I touched some settings in the AMD Software app: Radeon Antilag and Radeon Enhanced Sync
In my monitor I turned on thePremium FreeSync but that didnt nothing until I activated that settings in the AMD app

The AMD app doesn't do anything to your Nvidia GPU. It only controls the AMD GPUs (in your case, the integrated graphics in your 7700x). If those settings have an effect on your games, it means that you have conflict problem between you integrated graphics and you discrete GPU (or you are using the integrated graphics instead of the 5060 Ti). You should disable the integrated graphics in the BIOS and remove anything related to Radeon graphics with DDU. Also install the latest Nvidia drivers.

Something is really wrong if changing stuff in the AMD app fixes you problem. It shouldn't do anything if you are running on an Nvidia GPU.
