As a fervent AMD customer and current typer onto a San Diego 3700, I'd still go with INTC. 8)

If you can catch the market trend, INTC will be more stable but less profitable. AMD will be more profitable but more risky.

They all sold out to the over 40 crowd and are sipping rum on the beach in the caribbean or they are regretting they didn't and cursing as loud as the crowd that bought in at 40.
