advanced warfare menu frame lag/ stutter

hi i have a amd fx 6300, sapphire r9 285 oc and 8gb ram
the menu is really stuttery for some reason

Was it in fullscreen or window mode?

I run on a laptop with a Nvidia GTX 950m, 16 GB RAM, and an i5 processor. My menu does not stutter at all.

You could try verifying your cache also, and see if it stops stuttering if you lower your settings.

If you have already tried what I have said, then I am actually not sure what could be causing the stutters.

Unless, your computer is using more than 8 GB of RAM, while running advanced warfare. Usually, when a game stutters like that, it could be due to not having enough RAM.

I have 12 gb ram 1600mhz cas 11 dual Channel and I think it's because I have a amd card

That could probably be the case. I am not truly sure if that is the issue, but I have heard that amd cards compared to nvidia cards do not do as well. You can check on YouTube and see if there is anyone running the game with an AMD card, perfectly. Other than that, I truly do not know.
