Advice for a entry level gaming laptop

Hi im thinking in buying a cheap gaming laptop for example:

MSI GF65 Thin 15.6 Gaming Laptop i7-10750H 8GB RAM 512GB SS (gtx1660ti)

or

MSI Gaming GF65 THIN 9SEXR-249 Laptop (Core i5-9300H/8GB/512GB) (rtx2060)

i will be playing GTA V, X-Plane 11, and maybe Fortnite. What you guys think in those laptop.

I know desktop are better but i need something mobile

If the i7 pricing isn't much more and GPU is similar in both then I'd get the 10750H as it's better performance per core with more cores/threads but just a heads up the MSI Thin gaming laptops run quite warm. I own the MSI GF63 (9300H/8gb/1650 MaxQ) on a 1080P/60hz display and get around 80C on the GPU and about 90C on the CPU while playing the Division 2. This is with Vsync enabled. Besides that I would junk the MSI Dragon software as well as it was negatively impacting performance and once I did a clean install to get rid of all the bloatware I saw close to a 10 FPS increase. Other then running warm and some of the bloatware they perform really well and it's quite a bit of gaming performance in such as small package. Pricing was good from Microcenter, it was originally $850 and I got it for $600 but this was a few months ago.

I'd get the 10750H/1660 ti as long as it fits into your budget. While the idea of saving $200 is nice the sockets are BGA (CPU soldered to the motherboard) and would be very difficult to upgrade so you might as well buy a system that would last. As for the GPU's the differences on the mobile versions are pretty mild.

got it, and what about amd ? those ryzen processor for example of asus rog g15 they are really better than a core i7 ?

That's a nice laptop for the price and more memory then the other units. You just need to check out professional reviews and see what suits your needs. Even my lower end unit, spec wise, would play those games listed on Medium (or higher) settings smoothly.
