Hello, I am wondering if these temps are too high/unsafe. My specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (OC to 3.7 Ghz, stock voltage)
GPU: ZOTAC Geforce GTX 1070 ti (OC to +120 MHz core clock, +250 MHz memory clock via afterburner)
RAM: 8 Gb Ballistix Single LT 2666 MHz
MOBO: MSI B350 Tomahawk
Cooler: Stock AMD Wraith spire that came with cpu
PSU: EVGA 550 W Bronze
SSD: ADATA SU700
HDD: WD Blue 1 TB
Case: Cooler Master Master box Lite 5 RGB
Thermal paste: Arctic Silver 5
I monitored my temps ingame with Afterburner + Rivatuner OSD as well as with HWinfo64 in the bacakground; at idle my cpu will set at around 40-50C while my GPU sitts at 34C and I think those are fine? But my problem is when gaming at full load on say Overwatch tempps climb fairly quickly and the highest temps i reach on CPU are about 78C and highest temp I've seen on GPU was 78C as well. Are these temps normal/safe or should I be worried?
I've been contemplating on buying an aftermarket cooler like the Hyper 212 Evo or the Cryorig H7 but I am unsure if it would make a big difference....not going for 120mm AIO since i heard it isnt worth it and 240mm radiator is kinda tight in this case i think.
Edit: Should probably mention my ambient temps hover around 20C. I also tried adjusting the fan curve on afterburner.
Please would appreciate help
