advice needed please

computer specs.

i5 4th gen
8 gb ram
HD 7870 2 gb
msi h31 v2 motherboard


Have upgraded to rx 570 4gb graphics card. Since them games like to crash ( black screen monitor light flashing then pc restarts )

connection from card to screen as follows:
dvi adaptor to hdmi
hdmi adaptor to vga
vga to monitor

Card is massive and close to cpu. Case gets hot on top side

Temp for card 45, cpu 61.

Any advice.

Must check when at home but think it a hunt-key. Connection cables are 6 pin + 2 pin. Card were connected with 6 pin +2 and another 6 pin but now its only 6 pin + 2 in case it is heat.

Doesnt sound like a heat issue. Sounds like either faulty card or bad power delivery.

played last night ac odyssey for 2 hours and far cry 5 1 hour no problem with open case.
