I want to build a new PC .
I want a Tower case - plain, no rgb lighting, ideally solid or mesh side, preferably no glass. Budget ~£130

Key is 2 things
1. need to it support EATX format as I wish to use B650E motherboard
2. Want case to have at least 1 x external 5.25" bay for an optical drive

I had considered Fractal Pop XL, but fine print states only supports EATX up to 280mm so too short
That was good as there is a flip out lid to have a optical drive at bottom.
Alternative is a case with a front door so the drive is hidden.

The other option was a Phanteks Enthoo Pro ... supports the mobo size ,, but optical drive would be on show.

What other options can you suggest

There are two EATX B650E boards it seems. Both ASRock Taichi models.

I think you've already looked at the two chassis I would recommend. Just not much call for EATX and full size towers these days, so the nicer ones are several hundred dollars.
