my current computer is:
acer AAHD3-VC motherboard
AMD A6-5400k APU with Radeon HD graphics
10 GB ram
and a 1TB HD
ive been playing some newer games like Warframe and am crashing alot. what upgrade for around 100 would get me the most?

Solution
Crashing isn't usually a sign you need to upgrade. it is a sign there may be a software conflict, poorly written pgms running in the background, registry errors, or malware. Give CCleaner a run and do the Clean and Registry portions both. Then run a Malwarebytes scan.
And yes, crashes can indicate a failing piece of hardware too.

But if you want to improve your graphics quite a bit over the iGPU and do it for ~$100, get a GT 1030.

PCI Express is a backwards compatible interface. No worries.
Are you talking about the GT 730? Normally, a 128 bit memory bandwidth would be faster than a 64 bit interface. But the GPU used in the 128 bit version is older and slower, canceling the benefits of the wider bandwidth. Plus, the 128 bit version is more power-hungry. 49W vs 25W.
Tom's had an article on this awhile back, but I can't find it now.
