Using existing 37770k, 16gb, 7770, 400 fanless seasonic PSU, 3tb seagate constelation HDD x 2, noctua cpu cooler, samsung ssd, Asus Blueray burner, I am rebuilding into a CoolerMaster N200 Mini Tower Case.

On a hot day recently the HDDs were running at 60c in the previous case, which prompted the rebuild.

My question is, what is the best placement/configuration for the second Noctua NF-S12A 120mm PWM 1200RPM Fan. The first fan will be front intake moving air over the HDDs. My gut feeling is exhaust will be taken care of by the top case vent? Or will it?

At the end of the day I want to finish up with a quiet cool and potentialy overclocked PC sitting on a 300mm raised plinth under my desk.

i would opt for a vent in the front and one in the back. Ventilation in a straight line is always better then ventilation in an angle ( front and top ).
Warm air go's up, but you want to create an airflow and that go's best in a straight line.
